1 START
You can use the vortex or a grid worksheet in the game to identify feelings and indicators of being in the vortex and it is OK to even guess at physical indicators because it is fun to see which ones show up on shores when you play. They may even show up in an enhanced way beyond what you were thinking! This part has been really fun for me when playing with others.
A really good way to call good waves is to bask and get in your Vortex.
Basking and allowing Source to flow through you is an important part of the creation process. Ideas can come and with more energy joining in, it can feel like fun waves. Allowing this feeling often to wash over you is good for you!
2 PADDLING OUT
Paddling out is about is about "Inspired Action" and Impulses.
Throughout the day, inspired action calls. I like Bashar's discription of following your highest excitement. In this Game, a business adventure in a game, calling to be checked out, is the first formal example of this. Activate this idea and feel it to get to the next step to begin riding the practice waves.

3 SMALL WAVES
Practicing Aligning on the Waves begins here.
On these practice waves you are "going general" as Abraham reccomends. You are practicing aligning with the waves YOU called with your vibration. The easy general first subject in this Game to align with is Law of Attraction.
An aligning example here is to recall a real life experience of feeling the pull of Law of Attraction or making a corellation or just enjoy knowing about it. You can use an Abraham process if you like or just conjure feelings. You really want to spend at least 68 seconds of having good feelings with each set of waves.

4 MEDIUM WAVES and 5 MORE SKILLFUL RIDING
We begin to get more specific with the idea of Law of Attraction with the subjects of Abundance and Relationships on these waves. Remember you want to activate a feeling that is hopeful or above to get up on you surfboard and if you start to feel bad activating the subjects, you can choose another subject or go more general and get back up on your surfboard.
6 BIG WAVES
The big waves are about the Universe overdelivering. It is really fun when it happens and if you can imagine it happening or feel eager about it happening for you, you are riding big waves successfully.
